Description of problem: On every change to equalizer settings, whether it be via selecting a preset or hitting the "apply settings" button, volume output resets to zero. This is aggravating, especially on a laptop with a touchpad, and makes fine tuning the EQ settings nearly impossible. Open the pulseaudio-equalizer configuration application 2. Adjust any setting of any of the 15 bands, or simply select a preset from the dropdown. 3. Press the "apply settings" button (this step is not needed if a preset was selected in step 2) Actual results: Volume resets to zero. Expected results: Audio output modified in accordance with EQ settings, volume unchanged. Additional info: Is anybody maintaining this package?
