/etc/sysconfig/mouse and mouseconfig have no
way to setup a mouse as a left handed mouse, even
though gpm has this capibility (gpm -B 321, and
X can handle it though /dev/gpmdata amd gpm -R).

Thank you for your suggestion and it has been noted. We will consider
including this in future releases of Red Hat Linux.
