Recently I have used Zanata to localize Mozilla translations where I have hosted .properties files on Zanata.

After doing "mvn zanata:pull" I have noted that everywhere in the translations (as well as source - English) files the character colon (:) is replaced with Colon followed by Trailing Slash (\:). This has caused me a bug with Mozilla upstream: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=987630#c7

The interesting part is you won't see this behaviour while you translate messages online.

Actual Results:  
Character Colon (:) is replaced by characters Colon followed by Trailing Slash (\:)

Expected Results:  
Character Colon (:) should remain as it is seen on UI
