Description Vojtech Juranek 2014-05-26 15:03:13 UTC
Description of problem:
It seems there's no JCache release compatible with JDG ER5 release (probably also with previous ER builds).

JCache 6.0.X release fails as it tries to create ReentrantPerEntryLockContainer with a single parameters, while ReentrantPerEntryLockContainer in ER5 requires 2 arguments.

JCahce 7.0.0.AlphaX fails with exception bellow. Here the inconsistency is caused by OSGI related changed (JCache ISPN commit f517a93db933fe370765cfedafd622c19866c95b), which instantiate FileLookup, while the change which turned FileLookup from interface to class (ISPN commit 39a21a025db2e0f85019b93d09052b4772abbaa8) is not incorporated into the ER5 build.

This issue breaks some CDI functionality, but happens only on EWS/Tomcat container (where Weld is part of the deployment)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Comment 2 Vojtech Juranek 2014-05-27 14:19:04 UTC
JCache is not part of the product and is not supported by any means.
