Description of problem: ----------------------- glusterd logs identifies host using host's UUID. Need to identify the host after translating it in to corresponding host. It would be helpful, if the logs references UUID along with hostname or IP Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ------------------------------------------------------------- mainline How reproducible: ----------------- Not Applicable as this is just a enhancement Steps to Reproduce: ------------------- 1. Setup the gluster cluster with atleast 2 nodes 2. stop glusterd in one of the node 3. Look for glusterd logs on another node Actual results: --------------- glusterd log shows that peer's UUID as follows, [2014-05-27 07:20:09.033054] I [MSGID: 106004] [glusterd-handler.c:4290:__glusterd_peer_rpc_notify] 0-management: Peer 36efbc95-bee4-4b44-ab7e-1a4bf1903cf7, in Peer in Cluster state, has disconnected from glusterd. Expected results: ----------------- UUID along with hostname or IP could help anyone reading it

Now with this fix, UUID along with host's ip will be present in glusterd log message when one of the peer disconnected from cluster. So it will enhancement better readability of user from log file. This bug is getting closed because a release has been made available that should address the reported issue. In case the problem is still not fixed with glusterfs-3.7.0, please open a new bug report. glusterfs-3.7.0 has been announced on the Gluster mailinglists [1], packages for several distributions should become available in the near future.
