Description Thomas Hauser 2014-05-30 14:37:25 UTC
Description of problem:
When installing on top of an existing EAP installation, both the BRMS and BPMS installers restore the backup, even if the installation is successful. This results in several other issues.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
6.0.2 ER3

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install on top of an existing EAP.

Actual results:
The backup of the existing EAP is restored even on a successful installation, mangling the new files, like product.conf etc.

Expected results:
The backup is not restored upon a successful installation.

This issue is a blocker for certain. A fix is already in place.

Comment 2 Marek Baluch 2014-06-17 16:46:29 UTC
Verified on 6.0.2.CR1.

When the installation is completed (not exited using quit) then the configuration will now remain.
