Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

UI for location

Description of problem:

The UI is using "Capsule" in some places and "Smart Proxy" in others. The UI should probably be updated to be consistent. Below is an example.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
katello-1.5.0-25.el6sat.noarch

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install sat6
2. go to Administer -> Locations
3. select the Default location
4. click Capsules

Actual results:

Observe references to:
"All smart proxies"
"Select smart proxies"

Expected results:

"smart proxies" should be "capsules"

Isn't the wording change from "Smart Proxy" to "Capsule" part of the downstream patch. I don't think we are changing this upstream??

Comment 6 jmagen@redhat.com 2014-06-19 18:46:17 UTC
this was merged in gitlab repo already

Comment 8 Brad Buckingham 2014-06-24 12:41:52 UTC
From a quick look at the commit that got merged, I see where we changed 'Smart Proxy' to 'Capsule'; however, there are still instances in the UI where we reference 'smart proxies' (e.g. Org & Location Edit). This BZ should address all references to the proxy.

Moving the BZ back to assigned as Joseph is currently working on the updates.

Comment 9 jmagen@redhat.com 2014-06-24 12:47:13 UTC
this merge request fix it.
