Description of problem: Java Apps like Freemind start with an error message: "java.io.FileNotFoundException: JAR entry dictionary_de.ortho not found in /usr/share/java/jortho.jar" There seems to be a inconsistancy between configuration of the package (/usr/share/java/jortho/dictionaries.cnf) which refer to SIX dictionaries and / or actually included files (only dictionary_en.ortho) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.0-2.fc20 How reproducible: - Install freemind (and jortho as dependancy) - use system language other than english (e.g. german/frensh/spanish) - start freemind Actual results: Java Applications referring to jortho show an error message Expected results: a) reconfiguration of the package (do not include other languages beside "en" in dictionaries.cnf) b) also include these files: (preferred!) dictionary_de.ortho, dictionary_es.ortho, dictionary_fr.ortho, etc.. c) offer other dictionaries as separate package (if applicable to the confs)
Including all languages in single package is not desirable since the dictionary files are quite big. I'll try to make subpackage for each language (with exception of English which will stay in base package) and print something meaningful if selected language is not installed (e.g. To get Spanish dictionary install package jortho-dictionary-es) instead of FileNotFound.
I am interested in Italian language too. Error message while opening Freemind software: java.io.Filenotfoundexception jar entry dictionary_it.ortho not found in /usr/share/java/jortho.jar
Sorry for late reply, I did the change, but forgot to do the update. I put each language in a separate subpackage named jorho-dictionary-$language (except English which stays in main package). Available languages are: en, de, it, fr, ru, nl, pl, ar, es. If a package for current language is not installed, it will spit out a warning saying: "Dictionary for locale $locale is not installed. To get it install package jortho-dictionary-$locale". For languages that are not in any package it shouldn't print anything.
