Description of problem: rhsc-setup is not pulling the available updates for "nagios-server-addons" Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): rhsc-3.0.0-0.7.master.el6_5.noarch nagios-server-addons-0.1.1-2.el6rhs.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: Make sure that there is an update for "nagios-server-addons" available in a repo or channel 1. Install and run rhsc-setup with Monitoring enabled as per: http://rhsm.pad.engineering.redhat.com/rhsc-nagios-release-denali-5 2. Execute #rhsc-setup 3. Actual results: "nagios-server-addons" package is NOT getting updated even with "Monitoring enabled" and when updates are available. Expected results: rhsc should check for updates and pull all the latest nagios-server-addons package and it's dependencies, if available. Additional info:
'yum install rhsc' is currently pulling the latest package of "nagios-server-addons" available in the repo. But will "rhsc-setup" (during upgrade) also pulls in the same update (if available) as part of this bug fix?
nagios-server-addons is a direct dependency for rhsc. So when rhsc is upgraded, nagios-server-addons will get installed as well.
(In reply to Kanagaraj from comment #4) > nagios-server-addons is a direct dependency for rhsc. So when rhsc is > upgraded, nagios-server-addons will get installed as well. Thanks for the clarification, Kanagaraj.
Verified in rhsc-3.0.0-0.8.master.el6_5
