I think it's high time for this package to be retired. It's dead upstream for 10 years. plexus-classworlds is an active fork of classworlds which adds many improvements and provides adapter for legacy classworlds API. I've added a Maven alias for mvn(classworlds:classworlds) to plexus-classworlds to ease deprecation.
Have the problems you encountered in bug 878528 been fixed in plexus-classworlds?
I now don't recall what problem that was. What about we try blocking classworlds for a while and if there are no problems we can properly retire it?
Ok, well let's give it a try -- there should still be time to fix any problems in rawhide before F21 is released.
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.
This is now retired in favour of plexus-classworlds.
(In reply to Mat Booth from comment #10) > This is now retired in favour of plexus-classworlds. Thanks. I have obsoleted classworlds in plexus-classworlds 2.5.1-5
