Thanks Yaakov. The patch itself looks OK.  Could you attach git-formatted[1] pactch instead and use a better description in changelog?  (Changelog should say what was changed in the package. "Fix FTBFS" isn't very helpful.)

Fixed. protobuf required more cleanup, so I didn't use the patch.

I believe that this bug is fixed in protobuf-2.5.0-9,
which is available in Fedora Rawhide, so I am closing this bug now.
