This package would need to switch to use a java runtime, as native java builds aren't supported any more, but really I think we want to drop this package. It hasn't been updated for around 7 years and the only world forge client we have uses the libwfut library package. That package has been getting updated which makes me think things might have diverted over the years and wfut might not even work properly any more. Any other opions on whether we should retire wfut?
I checked with Erik Ogenvik from the Worldforge project and he agrees that we should retire it. (02:42:20 PM) mpreisler: Hi. Do you think we should retire wfut from Fedoras? https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1107149#c4 (02:43:56 PM) Erik Ogenvik: Yeah, it should be removed.
I started the retirement process, but I don't seem to have the access needed to retire the development branch in pkgdb.
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.
wfut has been retired and blocked from rawhide.
