Description of problem: Cobbler server in a RHEL 5 x86_64 server During yum-update, tried to install: cobbler.noarch 2.4.4-1.el5 epel cobbler-web.noarch 2.4.4-1.el5 epel koan.noarch 2.4.4-1.el5 epel and then: Error: Missing Dependency: virt-install is needed by package koan-2.4.4-1.el5.noarch (epel) Workaround: yum erase koan
Try using koan-1.6.6. It WorksForMe(tm)... Further info. I use mrepo to sync EPEL to my spacewalk server. mrepo is configured to *not* remove old versions. CC
