Description Dan 2014-06-10 03:24:46 UTC
Description of problem:

Cobbler server in a RHEL 5 x86_64 server
During yum-update, tried to install:
cobbler.noarch 2.4.4-1.el5 epel
cobbler-web.noarch 2.4.4-1.el5 epel
koan.noarch 2.4.4-1.el5 epel

and then:

Error: Missing Dependency: virt-install is needed by package koan-2.4.4-1.el5.noarch (epel)

Workaround: yum erase koan

Comment 1 Colin Coe 2014-06-17 04:52:12 UTC
Try using koan-1.6.6. It WorksForMe(tm)...

Further info. I use mrepo to sync EPEL to my spacewalk server. mrepo is configured to *not* remove old versions.
