Description of problem: When using the live ISO, the maximum resolution of my monitor is available and used (2560x1440), it was also working when I installed (but didn't update). Once I installed the current kernel though (kernel-3.14.7-200.fc20.x86_64), the maximum available in xrandr is 1680x1050. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kernel-3.14.7-200.fc20.x86_64 xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.21.15-5.fc20.x86_64 How reproducible: Every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. On a system with an i7-4790, using the integrated graphics and a monitor capable of more than 1680x1050, 2. Boot the live iso, observe the maximum resolution in xrandr, then 3. Boot kernel-3.14.7-200.fc20.x86_64 and observe the maximum resolution in xrandr Actual results: Maximum resolution under kernel 3.14.7-200 is 1680x1050. Expected results: I expected to be able to continue using 2560x1440 as my desktop resolution. Additional info: Monitor is a Monoprice 27" IPS-Zero-G (http://www.monoprice.com/Product?p_id=10509)

Please note that although I'm filing it here in drv-intel, when I first installed this sytem, the network adapter wasn't recognized by the 3.11.10-301 kernel, so I had to manually update the kernel from a USB stick, reboot, and then do all the other package upgrades. When I rebooted with the new kernel (all other packages stock from the ISO install), the resolution had dropped. The resolution displayed in Plymouth with the new kernel was also lower than that used in the LiveISO.

I was able to find kernel-3.11.10-301.fc20.x86_64 in the repos. When I boot that, I get the full desktop resolution. I can't find any other intermediate kernels in the repos to figure out the first one where the problem arises.
