Description of problem: Not sure if this is the issue with the UI, but looks like we need consistency between the actions performed while working with both CLI/UI related to http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/6241 http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/6240 Also related to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1110383 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): sat6-snap9-c2 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: associating dnsproxy with subnet via cli may not reflect in the UI Expected results: there should be consistency between them. Additional info:
Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.
I think these issues are not the same thing. imho you see the details either under subnet or domain (depends ifs its a PTR or A record dns server zone).
This bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1110383 is related to the API, but at the web-UI end, looks like there is some inconsistency, where in UI does not show the DNS proxy , while the CLI displays it. Just wanted to make sure there is some consistency between what the CLI displays and what Web-UI displays and hence the bug.
Upstream bug component is WebUI
This is an older bug which has been reported upstream. We are not going to track this bug downstream. When the upstream issue is resolved, the next build will contain the fix. Thank you.
