This is an automated bug update. We don't use Abrt for tracking Firefox bugs so it may be a crash in other component like plugin-container. If you can reproduce the issue, please remove the [abrt] string from summary and reopen it. Thanks!
This issue appears to be related to icedtea-web. When I have it installed I get this crash frequently. When I remove that package I stop getting this crash. Alas, I cannot reopen this bug as it's not mine.
I removed the icetea plugin but this still occurs - although less frequently, but I can't be sure as I attempted other changes as well (including creating a new profile). I am now using the Oracle Java plugin.
I get this message for this bug report: --- Running report_uReport --- This problem has already been reported. Your problem seems to be caused by Adobe Flash Player Adobe Flash Player is proprietary software. Fedora does not include proprietary software. There are open source alternatives including Swfdec and Gnash; both are available in Fedora package repositories. ------------------------------- I have uninstalled all Adobe products from the system - it still crashes. I created a new profile in Firefox - it still crashes. I removed the .config directory from the home directory - it still crashes. What else can I do??
If you see a firefox crash, please follow steps at: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Debugging_guidelines_for_Mozilla_products and attach the firefox backtrace here. We need it for further investigation. Thanks!
And also please file a new bug for it. This one is about flash plugin, which is not your case.
