Description Scott Herold 2014-06-18 06:25:22 UTC
Description of problem:
Enable PPC Support within RHEV 3.4.z

Comment 1 Michal Skrivanek 2014-06-19 08:28:48 UTC
let's define the level of support…

code should be ready to use with additional "unblock" of PPC machine types
but there are various limitations not implemented yet in 3.4.z stream (and some missing in 3.5 too)
Are we fine with "somehow" being able to run a VM with the caveat one explicitly unchecks/avoid settings and operations not supported by PPC kvm? (e.g. migration, snapshots, qxl driver, etc)

Comment 4 Michal Skrivanek 2014-08-19 12:21:22 UTC
basic patches for POWER8 should get into 3.4.3

Comment 8 Eyal Edri 2014-10-07 07:12:44 UTC
this bug status was moved to MODIFIED before engine vt5 was built,
hence moving to on_qa, if this was mistake and the fix isn't in,
please contact rhev-integ

Comment 9 Lukas Svaty 2014-10-10 05:55:25 UTC
verified in vt5
