Description of problem: As a system administrator I want all applications in my infrastructure to use the same authentication mechanism. I also do now want my application developers to have to know anything about the authentication layer other than an authentication user has been granted access to there application and what that username is. The main idea here is that this would be an all or nothing type of feature for Authentication (SSO) to GEAR applications. - It would also be nice that if you authentication with one gear that you would be authenticated with all gears. - However there may be some requirements to make this configurable in some way. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): All Additional info: This case is similar to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1089703#c15, however it ask for more consideration to be given to other solutions like Siteminder, Webgate and RSA's IAM products (just to name a few).
