1) when deleting the Host on sat6 from the WEBUI, the host does get deleted from the sat6UI and from the IPA Server. 2) but the DNS entry associated with it does not get deleted from the IPA server. the below entry is marked as true as expected. [root@xxxx ~]# cat /etc/foreman-proxy/settings.yml | grep -i freeipa_remove_dns :freeipa_remove_dns: true Please let us know if there are any configuration expected at sat6 or IPA server end for this to work.
Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.

DNS entries now get deleted successfully on IPA server, when the HOST is deleted from the sat6 server.
This was delivered with Satellite 6.0 which was released on 10 September 2014.
