The click event that causes freeze to occurs is random. Freeze occurs about once every 30 clicks. After somewhere between 10 sec. and 5 min. pressing alt will unfreeze system. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kdebase-3.1.93-0.3 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use kde UI Actual Results: click triggers freeze Expected Results: click triggers event Additional info: fedora 1 plus some devel packages XFree86-4.3.0-45 kernel-2.4.22-1.2088.nptl wireless optical mouse from MS
After a reboot the above UI freeze can be corrected by hitting the Esc key (did not unfreeze UI before this reboot). NumLock LED now changes when NumLock key is pressed while UI is frozen (LED did not change before this reboot).
