Do you mean to backport the new features from origin_broker_241 since above bugs are caused by the new feature?

Yeah, I marked this bug to block Bug 1116124 so we know to backport all of the recent region work at once.  Thanks for double checking.

I think it will be simpler to just track the bugfixes in the same bug.
