Description Máirín Duffy 2014-07-15 19:18:18 UTC
Description of problem:

so when i was typing my name in the full name field
'Máirín Duffy'
when i hit the dead key to turn on the accent mark, instead of turning on á, it did the accessibility keyboard thing to launch "A_dvanced ..."
since I only had 'm' typed in for my name, and the username suggested was 'm'
it filled in user home directory location /home/m
oops
now, i closed that and continued to fill in my full name and duffy as the username
but it somehow saved /home/m as the home dir
and didn't check to see if the username i typed in changed
so even though my desired username was 'duffy', when i rebooted my system it made my homedir /home/m because i accidentally had popped up the 'advanced' dialog when i hadn't finished typing in my username

this bug kind of sucks in that i had to reinstall my system to fix it :(
