Using Server Manager for WinNT the User DOM+Joe has full access to a share. When accessing the share the user is denied access due to a wrong security descriptor. Removing the user from the DOM+Domain Admins group or removing the admin users directive allows the user to access the share. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): samba-3.0.0-14.3E How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Join the Domain 2. Create a share 3. Add the admin users directive to the samba configuration 4. Allow access to the share via the Server Manager for WinNT 5. I've put RPMs of samba-3.0.2rc1 on http://people.redhat.com/fenlason/.samba . Can you try them and see if they resolve your problem. Note that these are un-qa'd packages of a release that is not intended for production use. If they solve your problem, I will attempt to get samba-3.0.2 included in the next quarterly update of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.
