Description mejiko 2014-08-08 09:24:14 UTC
Hello.

xscreensaver included non-free screensavar.
This is "bsod", "pacman", "apple2", "pong", "xmatrix", "rubik", "rubikblock" and "starwars".

Reason:

1. "apple2": included proprietary os. It is non-free.
2. "bsod": included proprietary os and game images(xpm file) and material. It is non-free. (But Free (freedom) OS is included, It is Free, OK.)
3. "pacman": included Pacman images, Its non-distributable, It is non-free. (Copyright and trademark problem).
4. "starwars": "starwars" is trademark'ed. and non-free material included. Its non-distributable, It is non-free.
5. "pong" "pong" is trademark'ed. Its non-free.
6. "rubikcube" and "rubikblock": "Rubikcube" is trademark. Its non-free.

Suggests:

1. Remove non-free screensavars.

2. Replace Fedora free (Fedora Acceptable Licensed) screensavars.

3. Remove Fedora repos.

Thanks.

Blocking FE-Legal, This is license problem.

Comment 2 mejiko 2014-08-08 09:54:06 UTC
Additional reason.

7. xmatrix: "The Matrix" is trademark'ed. It is non-free.
