Can you get it to crash again? Or was it a one time thing?
It was probably one time thing. Sorry for not responding, I forgot add me to CC list.
I seem to be able to cause this to crash on a dual monitor setup, everytime I use arandr to change the layout. xfce4-panel #1 is set to always render on eDP1, which looks like it may be the setting that causs this.
