Created attachment 928216 [details] 2 images, one showing error when no VM name is provided (field is highlighted), and second image showing error dialog Description of problem: Entering invalid characters in VM name brings up error dialog instead of highlighting field and tooltip. The validation should be consistent on the screen, highlighting the issue and providing a tooltip Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): rc1 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Modify the VM name, adding characters such as /, spaces or * Actual results: An error dialog comes up, which when dismissed, exits the Edit Virtual Machine dialog Expected results: Highlight the field and provide a tooltip such as in the case where no VM name is provided. This allows the user to correct their error without having to return to the Edit Virtual Machine dialog Additional info: An asterisk and clickable icon denoting a tooltip is available would be a nice usability addition, I wasn't aware there was a tooltip until I moved the mouse over the field
