Red Hat Product Errata RHSA-2015:1592 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE Important: Red Hat Satellite 6.1.1 on RHEL 6 2015-08-12 09:04:35 UTC

Description Chris Roberts 2014-08-19 14:46:43 UTC
Description of problem:
all of the other side notes say "can't"

partition table shows "cant"

Comment 1 RHEL Program Management 2014-08-19 14:53:20 UTC
Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been
set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.

Comment 3 Dominic Cleal 2014-09-16 14:19:26 UTC
I can't tell where you mean, could you provide a screenshot (preferable) or more detailed reproducer steps please?

Comment 5 Chris Roberts 2014-10-15 14:27:35 UTC
please see attached screenshot of the cant not used correctly.

Comment 6 Dominic Cleal 2014-10-15 14:30:02 UTC
Ah, gotcha.

It's the validation message when a partition table is left blank. To reproduce, attempt to create a new host but don't set a partition table.

"cant be blank unless a custom partition has been defined"

Comment 7 Dominic Cleal 2014-10-15 14:30:53 UTC
Created redmine issue http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/7954 from this bug

Comment 8 Bryan Kearney 2014-11-04 11:03:46 UTC
Moving to POST since upstream bug http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/7954 has been closed

Anonymous
Applied in changeset commit:4c60237a13d55e62a5b33f85f1e173fe8e715b68.

Comment 9 Bryan Kearney 2014-12-17 17:29:57 UTC
this will require a pull request to get in.

Comment 12 Kedar Bidarkar 2015-02-13 06:58:15 UTC
FAILED QA

It's still visible as "cant" for partition-table as seen from the screen-shot from the build Beta-Snap2.

Comment 13 Bryan Kearney 2015-03-09 14:04:54 UTC
MOving to POST. Jason, can you please verify that the upstream pull request was brought in?

Comment 16 Kedar Bidarkar 2015-03-12 15:15:48 UTC
VERIFIED with sat6.1 beta snap6 compose2.

Now the message seen is "can't be blank unless a custom partition has been defined".

Comment 17 Bryan Kearney 2015-08-11 13:22:55 UTC
This bug is slated to be released with Satellite 6.1.
