Additional info:
I don't see such an issue with the default Gnome desktop. What window manager are you using? Have you set the fonts to be larger than usual?
I am using Xfce 4.10.1 on Fedora 20 at a standard 1024x768.
I'm afraid I'm unable to reproduce this. I tried this with a newly-created user on XFCE on Fedora 20 and ended up with a window that was 784x743, which should fit on your screen. Here are a couple of possible workarounds: - You can move a window around the screen by holding Alt and dragging with the left mouse button. - There's an option in the Interface section labeled "Force using system font". I found that unselecting this option and restarting Keepass resulted in a smaller window. Alternatively, you could try reporting this directly to the Keepass developers. http://sourceforge.net/p/keepass/bugs/
My opening window does fit. However, when I select File>New and accept the default name, I get a window that starts at the top edge, but is lower than the bottom of the screen. As there is no way to get to the bottom, the user cannot complete the task of master password. Also, while I can see the force system font option and can check it, there is no way to get to the bottom of that page either. So then I figured that I would try to tab down to the hidden button, starting as low as I could on that window. I tabbed until the highlighted item jumped to the top of the screen as one of the tabs at the top, then Shft+tab to go back one. That did not work, but tabbing back two times got it to save. And guess what? It worked like a charm! All of a sudden the windows that open are the right size. I would suggest strongly that such be the default settingi when making the package available for installation. Thanks for your help.
I have this same problem. Nothing works. As I cannot see the bottom of the Master Password creation window, I can't complete the operation. The application is therefore kind of useless.
Try what I did in comment 4. It might work for you too. Good luck.
