Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been
set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.

Comment 3 Dominic Cleal 2014-10-29 11:53:19 UTC
Could you check if this is still an issue in Satellite 6.0 GA please? I'm unable to reproduce it.

Also perhaps double check the location did actually get set after changing it.

Comment 4 Peter Vreman 2014-10-30 09:35:05 UTC
Under Manage Locations and Manage Organizations i found a Fix Mismatches button. After clicking this the issue is solved.

I have attached a screenshot that showed the status before i clicked the FIx Mismatches. In this situation i was not able to fix it manual by selecting the Capsule and clicking Submit, then it would return that is was already associated.

Comment 6 Bryan Kearney 2015-02-11 18:05:22 UTC
I have looked at this on 6.1, and it appears to be resolved. You do need to have the location associated to a Capsule for it to show up when the location is seleceted in the context menu. But, that is expected bevaviour. I am moving this to ON_QA.

Comment 7 jaudet 2015-03-23 18:56:38 UTC
Tested against satellite running Satellite-6.1.0-RHEL-7-20150317.0 and capsule
running RHEL 7.1.

Comment 8 Bryan Kearney 2015-08-11 13:35:36 UTC
