On RHEL7 (systemd) the start operation can take little bit longer and in my case the startup timed out. We need to specify this in the service file: TimeoutSec=600 Or similar to give rails environment some time to boot.
Easy one-liner fix.
Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.
QA: I was not able to reproduce it 2nd time, maybe if you put "sleep" into /usr/sbin/foreman-tasks script to trigger this. Overall, just make sure it does not break anything :-)
As it turns out, it was already put in in foreman-tasks-0.6.9
VERIFIED on Satellite-6.0.4-RHEL-7-20140823.0 Have done three installation of the Satellite version above and the all of them completed successfully.
This was delivered with Satellite 6.0 which was released on 10 September 2014.
