Description of problem:

$ pkgdb-cli --password '[my password]' orphan --retire pkg
FAS password:

It shouldn't ask me for my password when I already specified it.

Could you try with the latest version: packagedb-cli-2.5-1.fc20.noarch ?

(which has been in stable: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2014-9069/packagedb-cli-2.5-1.fc20 for ~2 weeks).

According to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1100497 this has been fixed since 2.3
