On a second system with a monitor resolution of 1920x1200, system boots to try/install prompt.

This system has an ATI graphics card and a Samsung monitor.

Please attach /tmp/syslog and /tmp/X.log as individual text/plain attachments to this bug. Display issues are an X problem, not Anaconda.

Comment 3 Leslie Satenstein 2014-09-03 02:04:39 UTC
Interestingly enough, F20 && Centos experience no problem. /tmp/log to follow (I am not at work)

Comment 4 Leslie Satenstein 2014-09-03 13:56:06 UTC
Good Morning David
I have a slight problem. I am testing both with a flashdrive and with a DVD
The version of software I am testing is:
Fedora-Live-Workstation-x86_64-21-Alpha-TC5.iso

When I boot from the DVD, I get the prompt 1, 2 3, and I choose 1 to load live Fedora21.
When I boot from the flash, it goes directly to load the live Fedora21

Before Gnome can display a logon screen or the screen to ask to test Fedora21 install or to install, I get the Gnome message mentioned.

I did check /tmp, and there is no file therein. of the type syslog or X.log

This is the result of booting the iso mentioned.

Should I be looking elsewhere for your files? Note. I can use the liveDVD virtual terminal as root (no password).

Leslie

As root on a normal F20 system

find / -name "X.log" -print or
find / -name "X.log" -print

yield two "not found" situations
