Description of problem: after installation of RemoteBox.noarch 0:1.1-1.el6 on CentOS: $ sudo yum install RemoteBox.noarch I couldn't start RemoteBox from menu. $ remotebox Could not be opened file ยป/usr/share/remotebox/remotebox.xml: file or dir not found at /usr/share/RemoteBox/rbox_gui_init.pl line 7. Compilation failed in require at /usr/bin/remotebox line 16. The correct path of xml file is: /usr/share/RemoteBox/remotebox.xml After create a symlink, it works: $ cd /usr/share/ $ sudo ln -s /usr/share/RemoteBox/ remotebox Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): RemoteBox-1.1-1.el6.noarch.rpm How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Package RemoteBox-1.1-2.el6: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora EPEL 6 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=epel-testing RemoteBox-1.1-2.el6' as soon as you are able to. Works as expected. Note, RemoteBox 1.9 works on RHEL/CENTOS 6 these days. Maybe it's time to offer that as an update/alternative?
