Description of problem: There is a document about how to define "Work item definition" on business-central, but not for JBDS process designer. https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_JBoss_BPM_Suite/6.0/html/User_Guide/sect-Domain-specific_Tasks.html#sect-Work_item_definition Expected results: This is the instruction for JBDS process designer: - Create WID_NAME.wid file under $PROJECT_HOME/src/main/resources/META-INF - Content of WID_NAME.wid is same with the one for business-central - If icon's path is like "icon/notification.png", create icons directory under $PROJECT_HOME/src/main/resources/, and store image files in icon directory. Once you save the file, you can use your custom service task with JBDS process designer. You can find yours at "CustomTasks" category on a pallet.
Thanks Hisao. I have updated the section on Work Item Definition to include the process for adding Work Items Definitions in the JBDS. This can now be verified here [1]. Moving this to ON_QA. Once verified, I will release this as an async release. Verified on document referenced in comment #1.

Hello. Our customer requests us to update a document as follows. Could you take a look at those request please? 1: [current] To do so, create a WID_NAME.wid file under $PROJECT_HOME/src/main/resources/META-INF folder. [request to fix] To do so, create a WID_NAME.wid file under META-INF directory. (Ex. $PROJECT_HOME/src/main/resources/META-INF/WID_NAME.wid) Official Document[1] guides some paths which user can store WID_NAME.wid. Could you consider to write a document to cover all of patterns please? [1]https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_JBoss_BPM_Suite/6.0/html/User_Guide/sect-Domain-specific_Tasks.html#sect-Work_item_definition 2: [current] You can find your task in the CustomTasks category on a pallet. [request to fix] You can find your task in the category which is defined in WID_NAME.wid BZ-1139086 is reported about this behavior. I think expected behavior should be documented. Thx
Thanks for adding those comments in Hisao. Since this bug was closed and the changes QA'ed and made live, I would request to create a new bug to capture the new issues. I have taken your comments and added them to a new bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1165517. I will respond and update my comments on the new bug and will mark this bug as closed.
