Text runs off tooltip
All but one of our hostnames are too long to fit, the three systems that filled in their machine model are too long to fit, and all of the generated host names are too long to fit, just looking for examples on the All Hosts page. Closing list of bugs for RHEL OSP Installer since its support cycle has already ended [0]. If there is some bug closed by mistake, feel free to re-open. For new deployments, please, use RHOSP director (starting with version 7). -- Jaromir Coufal -- Sr. Product Manager -- Red Hat OpenStack Platform [0] https://access.redhat.com/support/policy/updates/openstack/platform |
Created attachment 935340 [details] screenshot We appear to try and use a one-size-fits-all approach for a tooltip. In many cases, this doesn't size properly, and important text trails off the right. Which is made worse by the fact that our tables like to truncate when they don't need to. Furthermore, text within the tables is needlessly squished. Even columns that have enough room to fully display text don't in many cases, regardless of how you size the table. Have to use a tooltip to see what the "..." means. The attached screenshot is one example instance where this occurs.
