difference between resizing column and when resizing

Description of problem:
When resizing column the cursor arrow is on the right side of the separator.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhevm: 3.5.0-0.10.master.el6ev

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
Resize a column

Actual results:
see the attachements

Expected results:
The arrow should be displayed at the center of the column separator

we attempted to improve the behavior in the context of bug 1037477, and we changed that a little bit after introducing the column-header sorting; 
Alexander - is there anything that we can do in order to make sure that the cursor/border will be aligned?
