Created attachment 936267 [details] Updated spec file libmediaart 0.6 was released in August: https://github.com/GNOME/libmediaart/releases But Fedora only has libmediart 0.4. It would be nice to update that for Fedora 21. (libmediaart >= 0.5.0 is required to build the latest versions of Rygel)
Errm.. its not. F21 is already on the release train so updates go through the usual update channels and take some time. http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/libmediaart.git/ http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/libmediaart.git/?h=f21 http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=17977 https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2014-10210
Oh, sorry, the update information was actually irrelevant because libmediaart-0.6 and rygel got into f21 before the alpha freeze.
Oh interesting. I was having trouble with it on F20, and when I looked it up it looked like F21 was still using libmediaart-0.4 for some reason. Now that I look again, I can't find the page that made me think that though. Sorry about that and thanks for the info.
No problem. In retrospect even adding libmediaart as an new package in F20 was a mistake on my part. Should have left it as F21+ onlt affair. I am not going to bother updating it in F20 with the API/slient-ABI break that is 0.5/0.6
