Alan,

Since there was no issue with the proxy server startup, should I open a new bug for the ec2 credentials issue and move this bug to verified?

Based on the discussion with Alan Pevec and Pete Zaitcev, marking this bug as verified since restarting proxy-server with swift3/s3token enabled did not throw any error messages as described by the reporter. 

A new bug has been opened for the ec2 credentials problem (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1151227)
