Description Ilya Rusyanov 2014-09-16 13:46:24 UTC

machine definition

Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.2.4, 1.2.7, 1.2.8

How reproducible: 100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. virsh suspend rasbpian
2. virsh save raspbian /var/lib/libvirt/qemu/save/raspbian.save
3. virsh restore /var/lib/libvirt/qemu/save/raspbian.save

Actual results:
ilya@dullboy:~$ virsh restore /var/lib/libvirt/qemu/save/raspbian.save
error: Failed to restore domain from /var/lib/libvirt/qemu/save/raspbian.save
error: XML error: No PCI buses available

Expected results: machine should be correctly restored.

Additional info: I'm actually on Debian Wheezy and Jessie. And really not sure if the problem is actually in libvirt-bin, but seems to be.

I also attach a definition of my virtual machine which can successfully start and stop and so on using libvirt, but not restore the state. And also contents of save file.

beginning of save file

this is the beginning(because it is bigger than allowed limit of an attachment) of the save file.

Sorry this didn't receive a timely response. There's been lots of arm changes in libvirt since this was filed... can you reproduce with a more recent libvirt version?

Comment 3 Cole Robinson 2016-05-02 14:29:42 UTC
Since there's no response, closing as DEFERRED. But if anyone is still affected with newer libvirt versions, please re-open and we can triage from there
