Created attachment 938076 [details] Output of 'systemctl status ModemManager' when ModemManager is started first Description of problem: ModemManager initialises the modem correctly (it shows up in NetworkManager and all) if it's already plugged in when ModemManager starts. If the modem is plugged in when ModemManager is already running it fails to initialise. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ModemManager-1.1.0-2.git20130913 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start ModemManager if not already started. 2. Insert the modem into a USB port. Actual results: ModemManager fails to initialise modem and gives the following warning: <warn> Modem couldn't be initialized: Couldn't check unlock status: SIM failure Expected results: Modem get initialised and shows up in NetworkManager. Additional info: I only tested this with a Huawei E3276 modem.

This message is a reminder that Fedora 20 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 20. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '20'.
