Description Martin Simon 2014-09-18 11:42:30 UTC
Description of problem:
After invoking download, the download is not shown in new download manager. However, the downloading itself is actually working (I suppose) as can shown when trying to close firefox.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
firefox-31.1.0-6.el5

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to download any big file (e.g. system iso) in firefox
2. Click to the new download overview in firefox
3. Click Show All Downloads

Actual results:
No download in progress, even in all downloads overview, only one download marked as failed

Expected results:
The download should be shown, progress should reflect reality. I should be able to stop/pause/resume the downloading as it worked in previous versions.

Additional info:
When I try to close firefox, I'm warned that there is a download in progress, but I cannot see it nor close it (in other way than close firefox at all)

This request was not resolved in time for the current release.
Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to
propose this request, if still desired, for consideration in
the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Comment 2 Simon Matter 2014-10-06 10:46:34 UTC
I see the same behavior on CentOS 5.11 / x86_64 with firefox-31.1.0-6.el5.centos.

Downloads don't finish but the .part file in /tmp is complete.

Looks the same as bug #1150082
