Description dsteigne 2014-10-01 19:57:47 UTC
Description of problem:
Complete log is imported into JBoss ON Events not just the new entries since the last polling.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.2.1, 3.2.3

How reproducible:
Everytime

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a small log file (or use the one I attached)
2. Configure a Log Event Source on either a RHQ Agent or EAP resource (behavior is the same)
3. The attached file has 10 lines, add a new one to the end. ON will import all the 11 events (as expected ), now add another line. ON imports all 12 events again not just the most recent.

Actual results:
JBoss ON imports the complete log file every polling, not just the new entries since the last poll

Expected results:
JBoss ON should only import the new events since the last polling.

The only time I see this occur is when I manually edit the log file to add a line, if it's a normal eap log or agent log this doesn't occur.
