Description Fabio Alessandro Locati 2014-10-02 08:35:06 UTC
Description of problem:
I had virt-manager working properly. At a certain point, I started it with sudo (sudo virt-manager). After this moment, If I try to run it without the sudo command, it freezes, while running it with sudo works properly

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
virt-amanger version: 1.0.1

Steps to Reproduce:
1. sudo virt-manager
2. close
3. virt-amanger
4. run a vm
5. top

Actual results:
Look the process taking 100% of ram and the window freezing

Expected results:
Working without problems, like it was before issuing it with sudo

Thanks for the report, but I can't reproduce.

If you can still reproduce, please run virt-manager --debug and post the full output here

Comment 2 Marcin Haba 2015-03-26 19:21:51 UTC
I tried to reproduce described issue either, but I finished without success. Virt-manager works the same well with and without sudo.

Could you past here your sudoers.d/* file with the sudo rule defined for virt-manager ?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure if you meant me or the reporter, but I don't have any special config for virt-manager + sudo...

Comment 4 Marcin Haba 2015-03-26 20:42:34 UTC
I meant the reporter. I am sorry for misunderstanding from my side.
