moving to POST, since this patch wasn't posted to 3.4.4 downstream branch. 3.4.4 already was built and shipped to qe - so this bug should be targeted to 3.4.5.
3.4.4 was built already, this will go into 3.4.5
A bit confused here. The summary says [el7], but Fixed-in-version el6ev. Looking to rpmdiff output, it looks ok for vdsm-4.14.18-5.el7ev https://errata.devel.redhat.com/rpmdiff/show/111342?result_id=2707057 For vdsm-4.14.18-5.el6ev I still see the error there https://errata.devel.redhat.com/rpmdiff/show/111340?result_id=2706997 , but it's compared to vdsm-4.14.18-4.el7ev which looks strange. Shouldn't it be compared against previous el6 build? And is this bug supposed to be fixed in el6 too or el7 only?
Both builds contain the change unless I missed something. Dan, can you confirm? Joey, can you please explain why the rpmdiff compare runs between el6 and el7 rpms? its wrong iiuc.. is it a bug in errata tool?
yes, the directory move was on all platforms.
