Description Helmut Horvath 2014-10-08 12:23:30 UTC
It would be a useful addition if anaconda would introduce an option similar to "--boot-drive" that would install the bootloader to the drive the /boot directory (or partition) is located on.
Internally I imagine this to work like the following: The partitioner in anaconda exports a variable e.g. "boot_drive" that contains the information on which drive the /boot directory (or partition) is located, so that the option I am talking about can make use of that information.
This could also be implemented as an argument of "--boot-drive", like "--boot-drive=$boot".
The variable names I suggested may be confusing and not very descriptive, but they should only serve for demonstration.
