A flaw was found in the way the ResourceBundle class in OpenJDK standard library handled certain resource bundle names.  An untrusted Java application or applet could possibly use this flaw to initiate HTTP network requests, bypassing certain Java sandbox restrictions.

Public now via Oracle Critical Patch Update - October 2014.  Fixed in Oracle Java SE 5.0u75, 6u85, 7u71, and 8u25.
