Pound on epel is from May 2012 (version 2.4). Please update to 2.6 and apply patch for SSLv3 problem (https://www.mail-archive.com/debian-bugs-dist@lists.debian.org/msg1268963.html)
Thanks for the report. *sigh* this is the third different patch with a different option name in circulation. If only the upstream actually used the mailing list for other stuff than throwing random over the fence. By the way; in el6 we _are_ already on 2.6. Adding the patch now. Going with the 2.7d upstream one.

Package Pound-2.6-2.el6.1: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora EPEL 6 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=epel-testing Pound-2.6-2.el6.1' as soon as you are able to.
