please check if the iface is down or the NIC is completely missing if it's the latter then this is a duplicate of bug 1154377 the iface is down (In reply to Michal Skrivanek from comment #2) sorry, I've meant the case that the iface is there, but down, versus the case when the interface is lost in the destination VM during cloning.
