Description of problem:
After cloning vm from snapshot, that was created from vm with os, When trying to get the machine IP through ifconfig, no eth0 interface exists.

in the base vm, that the snapshot created on, when running ifconfig eth0 interface exists

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create vm with os
2. create snapshot from that vm
3. clone new vm from that snapshot

please check if the iface is down or the NIC is completely missing

if it's the latter then this is a duplicate of bug 1154377

sorry, I've meant the case that the iface is there, but down, versus the case when the interface is lost in the destination VM during cloning. 

Then this is indeed a duplicate
