I can confirm that the patch below allows the DVICO USB DVB-T dongle to tune DVB broadcasts OK. I have recompiled and istalled a recent fedora kernel with a patch based on the documented change. https://patchwork.linuxtv.org/patch/24567/ This issue is also seen in RHEL7.

That went into the upstream 3.17 kernel as commit eb9da073bd002f2968c84129a5c49625911a3199. We'll look at backporting it soon. > This issue is also seen in RHEL7. You will need to file a bug against the RHEL product if you want to see it fixed there. The Fedora kernel maintainers do not work on RHEL.
