Red Hat Product Errata RHBA-2014:1820 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE Red Hat Storage 3.0 enhancement and bug fix update #2 2014-11-06 21:59:58 UTC

Description Rejy M Cyriac 2014-10-20 16:45:58 UTC
Description of problem:
With RHEL6.6 GA a higher version of augeas-libs (1.0.0-7.el6) is available from the standard RHEL6 repo, with only the lower version of augeas (augeas-1.0.0-5.el6_5.1) available at RHS3 repo. This causes package dependency conflicts and results in the update failure for currently installed RHSS 3, and layered install failure of new RHSS 3.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHSS 3

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.On a registered RHSS 3 system, run update
OR
2.Attempt a layered install of RHSS 3 on RHEL 6

Actual results:
Results in the update failure for currently installed RHSS 3,
and
Failure of new layered install of RHSS 3 on RHEL6.

Expected results:
On a registered RHSS 3 system, the update process should be successful
A new layered install of RHSS3 on RHEL6 should be successful

Additional info:

Comment 1 Rejy M Cyriac 2014-11-06 15:19:01 UTC
Verified with augeas-1.0.0-7.el6 pushed to RHS3 channel/repo
